The EXTEND GROUP will screen Future by Design as part of its Inspired by Innovation series from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, December 20, at its office in the Walker Building.
Future by Design is a documentary about the life and far-reaching vision of Jacque Fresco, considered by many to be a modern day Da Vinci. Peer to Einstein and Buckminster Fuller, the 97-year-old Fresco is a self-taught futurist and a prolific inventor, having spent his entire life conceiving of and devising inventions on various scales using innovative technology.
Future by Design is the third inspirational film screened by the EXTEND GROUP for Inspired by Innovation, a film series which aims to show community members how others, through the process of innovation, have impacted the world around them.
“Our only hope is that each of our guests will be inspired to be an agent of change in his or her work, community, or home,” said Shawn Collins, founder and CEO of the EXTEND GROUP.
There is no cost to attend Inspired by Innovation events. Food and drink will be provided by Acropolis Restaurant. Seats are limited to the first 40 RSVPs. Contact Melissa Collins by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at (812) 618-7229 to reserve your seat.
The EXTEND GROUP is located at 401 S.E. Sixth St., Suite 209 in Evansville, Ind.
The EXTEND GROUP strives to provide simple and elegant solutions to complex problems relating to environments, devices, services, and systems.
