Shawn Collins, Founder and CEO of the Evansville, Indiana-based EXTEND GROUP, announces T.A is partnering with these five schools:

- Frontier Community College, Fairfield, IL
- Kaskaskia College, Centralia, IL
- College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL
- Owensboro Technical College, Owensboro, KY
According to Collins, “As millennials, today’s technicians are extremely tech-savvy, in addition to being very brand loyal. However, their loyalty must be earned. Technician.Academy will procure respect for the brands represented in each category through manufacturer-specific, pro-to-pro training. This includes training in the classroom, in the shop, and 24/7 online. We’re very proud, and fortunate, to be working with the automotive professionals at such highly regarded schools.”
Chuck DeBernardi, Automotive Technology Program Coordinator, at Kaskaskia College, explains the impact of manufacturer-supported training:
“I have come to appreciate the manufacturer training in our automotive program. The insight that an expert manufacturer trainer can bring is exactly what today’s future automotive technician needs. I have sought out manufacturer trainers for the automotive program anytime we go to trade shows, or requested trainers through parts stores. I also believe that when the student makes a product quality connection early in their career, it can build product and brand loyalty.
