EVANSVILLE, IN – Tuesday, July 23, 2019 – EXTEND GROUP welcomed friends, family, community leaders, and partners for the group’s Open House on Thursday, July 18, 2019, to celebrate EXTEND GROUP’s new location at 530 Main Street. Those who attended the open house were able to explore the new EXTEND GROUP facility, share food and laughs with colleagues and friends, and learn about the new opportunities happening within the organization.
“EXTEND 530 is our third location in our 12-year history, and it’s the best,” said Founder, Shawn Collins. “We’re in the heart of our community. We’re on Main Street. We’re right across the street from our local events center…and one of the top-ten high schools in the country. There are a lot of innovative businesses here on Main Street. This is the thoroughfare for everything that is really happening in the heart of downtown Evansville and that’s where we belong. We look forward to being an active catalyst for this transformation.”
On top of showing everyone the new EXTEND GROUP space, Collins announced the launch of their new company position, core values, revitalized website, and played the new company video for everyone in attendance. The video was produced by Chris Berneking Productions, a long-time EXTEND GROUP partner that shares the 530 Main Street collaborative space and works closely with the EXTEND GROUP team on a number of projects.
EXTEND GROUP also announced its partnership with VPS Architecture with two unique community initiatives. The two teams have converged their separate expertise into one podcast experience on digital and physical space, called @530 on Main, that will air live every other Thursday starting August 15, 2019. With the help of VPS Architecture, EXTEND GROUP is also bringing back the Inspired by Innovation, a series of inspirational videos that spark innovative community discussions.
